ACT 1989 (EACH AS AMENDED) AND THE EUROPEAN
UNION (INSURANCE AND REINSURANCE) REGULATIONS
2015
TAKE NOTICE that:
1. A Petition has been presented to the High Court seeking
the sanction by the Court in accordance with the provisions
of Section 13 of the Assurance Companies Act 1909, as
amended, Section 36 of the Insurance Act 1989, as amended
and Regulation 41 of the European Union (Insurance
and Reinsurance) Regulations 2015 for the transfer (the
“Transfer”) of insurance business of Baltimore Insurance
Designated Activity Company (“Baltimore”) to AIG Europe
Limited (“AIG Europe”) pursuant to the terms of a Scheme
filed with the Court, together with ancillary relief;
2. the said Petition is to be heard by the Commercial Court on 25
April 2018 at the Four Courts, in the city of Dublin at 11.00am
and any person who may be entitled to be heard may appear at
the time of the hearing in person or by Counsel or Solicitor;
3. any person who wishes to be heard on the hearing of the
Petition is directed by the High Court to notify the Petitioners’
solicitors, William Fry, 2 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2
(quoting reference 011935.0006.JL) in writing no later than
5.00pm on 20 April 2018 of his/her intention to appear at the
hearing of the said Petition and should indicate to the said
solicitors whether such person or persons support or oppose
the said Petition and should serve any affidavit evidence on
which that person or persons intends to rely on to William Fry
by that date and time; and
4. copies of the Scheme whereby the Transfer is to be effected,
the related Petition and the Schedules annexed thereto are all
available for inspection at the registered office of Baltimore:
25-28 Adelaide Road, Dublin 2, Ireland; at the registered
office of AIG Europe: The AIG Building, 58 Fenchurch Street,
London, EC3M, 4AB, United Kingdom, in each case between
the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (Irish Time) on each working
day between from the date of publication of this notice to 20
April 2018.
